		<description>Thanks for catchup on transactions.  Yes, the Royals do have other options in the system if the bullpen continues its arson-like ways, although starting the season like it did is okay.  No point in starting season with Rosa in the bullpen, only to send him down Sunday for Meche.  Mendoza has more than earned that spot, and he has pitched so poorly that Royals do not have to worry about him clearing waivers.  And if some team claims him, big deal.

Woods needs to start in minors; KC needs to think about long-term.  But Rosa, Herges, or whomever does well for O-Royals should be brought up soon.  It&#039;s not like there won&#039;t be a long-list of candidates to dump for the spot.

If Ankiel continues to be adequate at cleanup, and Guillen continues to stink, this should give KC all the more reason to play KK at DH.  KK in the 5 hole sure would look good.</description>
