Some CttP content, upcoming posts, and Opening Day

On the eve of Opening Day, I wanted to give everyone a heads up that Jon, Michael, and myself have been working together this weekend on a 2010 Royals season preview of sorts.  My hope is that I can get everything tied together and published before the first pitch is thrown in the titanic match-up of Verlander and Greinke tomorrow.

You have probably noticed my presence was a little lighter here on KoK this past week because the bulk of my time and effort was focused on getting Call to the Pen off of the ground.  With most of the set-up tasks over there now taken care of, I plan to get “back to my roots” and normal level of productivity here on this site.  I’m sure there will still be some growing pains as I balance running both sites, but I have some great writers backing me in both places.  Because of that, I’m confident I will be able to find a rhythm and get into an ultra productive groove.

Speaking of getting back to my roots, if you really missed your Baseball Side of FanSided fix, the series made its debut over on Call to the Pen on Saturday morning.  Click here if you want to check it out.

Also, my weekly column Draft Currents, made it’s debut over on Call to the Pen this morning.  If you are a longtime reader of Kings of Kauffman, you will recognize my first post since it originally appeared on this site back in December.

If you have been waiting for the continuation of the KoK prospect rankings, I intend to pick that project back up this week and hope to get prospects 8 through 1 revealed very soon.

Enjoy Opening Day tomorrow and look for our version of a Royals season preview to drop at some point during the day tomorrow.  Baseball is finally back!
