A week from today I leave with my family for warm and (hopefully) sunny Jamaica for my sister-in-law’s wedding. It will be my first time outside of the United States and I am borderline freaking out about the trip. I’ve never seen the ocean, and it will be only the second time in my life that a trip involved flying.
All that is kind of scary to me, but the biggest trip related stress is the prospect of dealing with our 2-year old and 5-year old sons in the various airports and on the planes. The boys are both really excited about the trip so I’m doing my best to put on a “happy face” for the benefit of my sons and my wife. As far as the impact of the trip on my work for FanSided, my laptop will be in tow and I am hoping to keep publishing content while we are there, but I can’t make any guarantees.
Before we head to the airport next Saturday, I have planned out the following articles. Of course this is all subject to change based on other news that comes up, but I will do my best to stick to this schedule and tack on other articles as necessary.
First off today I will be publishing an edition of From the Fish Pond as well as another Market Fresh update. Next up is an article based off of Sam Mellinger’s List that I’ve been meaning to write for a couple weeks. That one may be up tonight but more likely will be published tomorrow. On Monday I plan on publishing another Market Fresh profile and will then start revealing the Kings of Kauffman Royals prospect rankings. I am still on the fence on whether or not it will be a top-15 or top-20 list. My plan is to publish one prospect each day, once I get started, until all 15 (or 20) players are revealed. One change from my original plan is that I will be writing the profiles as I go.
Also in the works is the next installment in the Draft Recall series and an interview with a big name prospect who will remain a mystery.
In other news, Kings of Kauffman has a newly designed header (see the top of the page)!
