Thank you for the link Wally. Montgomery will be snug inside our top 75. He just missed the 50. I saw the Royals multiple times last year in Spring Training...Giavotella really impressed me. I also got to see Moustakas multiple times at the AFL. Saw Crow pitch too. As far as how reputable we are, the site has been around for over three years now. I have journalistic experience as a national prospects writer in the print industry. My work has been featured on ESPN, MiLB.com, CBS, and a variety of major papers. Project Prospect has also been referenced in a some major market newspapers. We do a lot of statistical and video analysis. But our team attends as many minor league and amateur games as any prospect source. That's the skinny :).

I saw Montgomery was #75 for Keith Law - but Law had also had Hosmer at 34, which is entirely contrary to everybody else too.

Prospect lists can vary greatly based on methodology used to rank the players. I'm not sure how reputable Project Prospect is compared to other sites, but I think they do a pretty solid job (otherwise I wouldn't link to or read their stuff).

Montgomery being ranked outside the top-50 isn't unheard of. He came it at #75 on the ESPN/Keith Law top-100. He also just made the top 50 on the MLB.com list at #43.
