		<description>I was actually really surprised that Sickels rated Arguelles at all, as I rather doubt it was based on anything other than widely scattered hearsay.  My take on it is that the grade is too arbitrary to be taken seriously.  The Royals certainly see him as better than that, given that he received a major league contract.

As an aside, Sickels also gave Chapman an A-.  That one struck me as too high (and some Reds fans agreed), given the stories of command issues.  (Some scouts have indicated that he reminds them of Colt Griffin...how&#039;s that for scary?)  I tend to agree with you, however, that Arguelles was the more &quot;intelligent&quot; signing, if that&#039;s the right word.  I really cringed at the amount given to Chapman and wonder if the Reds might find themselves regretting it when they are still paying this guy in ten years.</description>
