Unfortunately that was not to be. I hope that the next guy gets to operate under the same set of rules as Dayton. If David and Dan Glass revert to their mode of operations when Baird was GM we are doubly screwed as Royals fans. Like you I have been holding out hope, but that looks like a foolish course of action on my part these days. I'm going to give him till opening day but all the signs point toward the need to close the GMDM chapter of Royals history sooner rather than later.
