At 21 years old with a sub 0.300 OBP he needs to show something at some point. Having tools is great, but if you don't put them to use, they are completely worthless. Granted he did have an OBP of 0.405 in 2008 with the AZL Royals, but even then he struck out 4.4 times for every walk he drew. I'm not writing him off completely, but thus far I would only rank him ahead of Eigsti in the group heading to the Instructional League.
