It takes TPJ's best season with an OPS+ of 66 and pits it against Gathright's 2nd worst season with an OPS+ of 59. Gathright has a career OPS+ of 68 which is better than TPJ's best single season output in 2007. For those of you who are curious, TPJ's career OPS+ is 44. It is a given that Neither TPJ or Gathright are very good players, but Gathright at least posesses a ML caliber attribute (speed) and in the right situation could fit as the 25th man on a ML roster.
