It embarrasses the entire organization to have him on the roster. You think the Yankees, White Sox or even the Rays would tolerate such nonsense? The only thing I can figure is that TPJ knows some sensitive information that could destroy Hillman &/or Moore's career(s). He is blackmailing them to stay on the roster. The only thing I can figure is that TPJ knows some sensitive information that could destroy Hillman &/or Moore’s career(s). He is blackmailing them to stay on the roster. That’s the only way it makes even a shred of sense.
